Ohioans understands and realizes that patients have many choices when it comes to selecting their home healthcare and rehabilitation services. We take seriously the confidence and trust of physicians, patients and their family members place in our team. The quality of work is the result of our skillfull execution of a physician's orders and our patient's wishes. Each day we pursue our goal of providing the best services with our skilled nursing team, home health aide staff, and rehabilitation therapists.

Our well-trained clinical staff is state licensed and certified with extensive experience in the healthcare industry. All employees are properly screened, including criminal background checks and drug screening. Additionally, each staff member is adequately bonded and insurance to provide services to your residents.

Skilled Nursing

Our nursing staff constists of a certified wound care nurse, certified diabetic educator, cardiac, respiratory, orthopedic and med/surgical nurses. This experienced team has the ability to provide:

  • Medication Teaching:
    This includes monitoring of medication compliance, medication set-up, IV therapy, injections, and necessary instructions of giving injections (i.e. insulin).

  • Nutrition Counseling:
    This includes compliance with special diets and weight monitoring.

  • Respiratory Assessments:
    Providing instruction on the proper use of inhalers, aerosol machines, oxygen, and the care of all equipment.

  • Cardiac Assessments:
    This includes Post Operative Care, with continual monitoring of chest pain, blood pressure, edema, as well as teach signs and symptoms of worsening cardiac problems.

  • Wound Care:
    Dressing changes, wound vac therapy, assess wound healing and signs of infection. Additionally, Ohioans will provide dressing supplies and order wound vacs when necessary.

  • Ostomy Care and Education

  • Lab Work:
    At Home and On-Site lab work drawn and reported to proper phyisician when required.

  • Disease Education:
    Educating patients on the disease process of COPD, CHF, Diabetes, Renal Failure, MS, Osteoporosis and many more.
  • Occupational Therapy

    Our experienced Occupational Therapists have the capability to:

  • Help:
    Each patient to increase their ability to care for themselves in several capacities. (i.e. the ability to wash and dresss, cook light meals, transfer from bed to chair, among other daily activities.)

  • Provide Assessments:
    If a patient has any equipment needs that may include a wheelchair, scooter, bath equipment such as grab bars, elevated toilets, etc.
  • Home Health Aide Services

    Our certified team of Home Health Aides can assist you with all activities of daily living. The following are a few examples of what our aides can provide:

  • Personal Care:
    Bathing, hair care, skin care, shaving and more

  • Homemaking Services

  • Laundry

  • Errands:
    Includes grocery shopping and prescription pick-up

  • Meal Preparation
  • Speech Language Pathology

    Our team of Speech Language Pathologists are certified to re-establish or enhance the patient's ability with the following:

  • Difficulty swallowing / choking on food or drink

  • Motor Skill / Speech Difficulty

  • Memory Enhancement

  • Physical Therapy

    Our certified Physical Therapists are well-trained and highly experienced to aid patients in their quest for:

  • Fall Prevention

  • Balance Training

  • Increased Endurance Levels

  • Decrease Pain and Stiffness

  • Improve Range of Motion
    Provide Assessments: Especially for equipment necesssities, such as a cane, walker or wheelchair.

  • Social Work

    Medical Social Workers are excellent resources for getting in touch with community events, as well as providing counseling and outreach. We can help with the following needs:

  • Transportation:
    We arrange transportation for clients with special medical needs.

  • Consults:
    Social workers offer consulting with regards to questions and/or concerns about hospice or skilled facility placement.

  • Temporary Counseling:
    In regards to patients with long-term mental disorders as well as life-changing events.

  • Assistance with programs to aid in medication costs

  • Application process for government assistance programs
